Description
Description
Whether you are welding structural steel, hiking the backcountry, or breaking in a pair of heritage leather boots, you share one common need: You can't afford for your gear to fail.
Blue Ridge Waxed Kevlar® Laces bridge the gap between industrial-grade durability and premium aesthetic. We replaced the cheap nylon and fragile leather found in most boots with materials usually reserved for body armor.
Why They Are Different:
- For the Trades (Performance): Standard laces melt, snap, and rot. Ours thrive in the hazard zone. They are heat resistant (won't melt from sparks), chemical resistant, and essentially unbreakable on the job site.
- For the Collector (Aesthetic): You love the look of leather laces but hate that they snap. You love the feel of cotton but hate that it frays. Our matte wax coating starts stiff and breaks in with your boots, taking on the shape of your speed hooks for a custom "patina" fit.
- Eyelet Protection: The heavy wax layer acts as a lubricant, reducing the friction that normally causes raw Kevlar to "saw" into boot leather.
